Welcome to VibeLocal
VibeLocal helps people discover great local places, experiences and businesses. We want every listing to be useful, genuine and easy to trust. These Terms explain what businesses receive, what we ask in return, and how we keep the directory fair for everyone.
These Terms apply when a business claims or creates a listing, joins our free Promoter programme, or subscribes to Featured. By accepting them, you confirm you are authorised to act for the business.
1 | Your free business listing
A basic listing helps people find your business. VibeLocal may display publicly available basic business information before a listing is claimed.
- Basic listings can appear in the directory with essential information and discovery links.
- Claiming a listing is subject to our checks and approval; it does not automatically include Promoter or Featured benefits.
- You can ask us to correct or remove a listing by emailing info@vibelocal.es, subject to applicable law.
2 | Free Promoter membership
Our first 100 approved founding Promoters receive Promoter membership free for as long as they remain eligible and follow these Terms. They will not be charged automatically. Offers to later businesses may differ.
What you receive
- A verified business badge and the ability to update your listing, photos and opening hours.
- One active offer or experience.
- Enhanced directory visibility compared with basic listings, without a guaranteed fixed position.
- Free VibeLocal QR, NFC or other Discovery Point materials assigned to your business.
What we ask from Promoters
- Display every Discovery Point we supply clearly and accessibly at the assigned business premises while you participate.
- Do not copy, alter, sell, transfer or move Discovery Points to another location without our permission.
- Tell us if materials are lost or damaged; replacement is at our discretion.
- Keep your listing accurate and honour the offer or experience you publish.
If these commitments are not met, we may withdraw Promoter benefits or take other proportionate action under Section 9.
3 | Honest listings and advert quality
VibeLocal is built around real places and real experiences. Please make sure your listing reflects what visitors will actually find.
- Use genuine, accurate photos of your premises, products, services and experiences. No AI-generated images presented as real photographs or misleading edits.
- Avoid unsupported claims such as “the best” or “number one”.
- Keep descriptions, facilities, prices, contact details and other information accurate. Review any AI-assisted descriptions before approving them.
- Update opening hours promptly, including seasonal schedules, holidays, renovations and temporary closures.
- Only advertise services and experiences that are genuinely available; comply with all applicable licences and legal requirements.
4 | Offers, experiences and events
- Promoters may publish one active offer or experience; Featured members may publish multiple offers or experiences and events.
- Offers must be written in English, clearly explain what is included and any price or conditions, and be honoured throughout the business’s published opening hours while advertised.
- Events must show correct dates, times, locations, prices and booking requirements. Update or cancel them promptly when details change.
- Your business is responsible for delivering what it advertises. We may edit for clarity or remove inaccurate or inappropriate content, subject to applicable law.
5 | Featured membership and payments
Featured gives businesses the paid promotional features shown at checkout, including multiple offers or experiences and event publishing.
- Price: €49 per month, including 21% Spanish IVA, paid in advance and renewed automatically each month.
- No sign-up fee, free trial, cancellation fee or minimum commitment beyond the current paid month.
- Cancel or request a downgrade at any time through your account (where available) or at info@vibelocal.es. Changes normally take effect when the paid period ends; benefits remain until then.
- After expiry, the listing returns to a lower-tier plan if eligible, otherwise to the basic free listing. Former Featured members do not automatically qualify for founding Promoter benefits.
- Payments for a period already started are normally non-refundable, except for incorrect charges, charges after an effective cancellation, material service failures or where the law requires a remedy.
- If a payment fails, we will notify you and allow up to seven days to resolve it. Payment may be retried; if still unpaid, Featured benefits may end and the listing may revert to basic free.
- Your original price stays the same while your subscription remains continuously active, including a payment issue resolved within seven days. If you cancel and later rejoin, the current advertised price applies.
6 | Recommendations and private feedback
Visitors can choose “Recommend” or “Not for me”. A “Not for me” response requires a written explanation.
- We show a public recommendation percentage only after at least 10 valid votes; it includes both positive and negative votes.
- Written feedback is not published publicly. We may share it privately with the business without the reviewer’s account name, email or account details.
- Comments can sometimes indirectly identify a person. We may moderate feedback to remove identifying or inappropriate details.
- Fraudulent votes, manipulation and retaliation against reviewers are not allowed. We may adjust the system or its scoring rules in accordance with applicable law.
7 | Your content and our marketing
Your business keeps ownership of its original content. By submitting or approving photographs, logos, descriptions and other materials, you confirm that you have the rights needed to authorise their use.
- You grant VibeLocal a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish, resize, adapt and share authorised content in the directory, social media, newsletters, advertising and other VibeLocal marketing without asking permission for each post.
- This permission does not automatically cover photographs or other materials owned by Google contributors or third parties. We use such materials only where the necessary rights exist.
- We will not knowingly misrepresent your business. VibeLocal retains ownership of its name, branding, designs and Discovery Points.
- After participation ends, new promotional use of your supplied content will cease within a reasonable period, subject to lawful exceptions; existing posts may remain where legally permitted.
8 | How businesses appear in the directory
We control how listings are organised and ranked and may improve these methods as VibeLocal grows. Listings are shown first by plan (Featured, then Promoter, then verified, then basic listings) and, within each group, by distance from you when your location is available. The category and filters you choose decide which listings appear. We will provide any additional ranking and paid-placement information required by law.
Promoter and Featured can offer better visibility than a basic listing, but no plan guarantees a fixed position, number of views, scans, enquiries, bookings or sales. We will respect contracted paid benefits and applicable law.
9 | Keeping VibeLocal trustworthy
We may review, correct, restrict, suspend or remove listings or content where there are reasonable grounds, including misleading information, misuse of Discovery Points, fraudulent recommendations, serious substantiated complaints or unlawful conduct.
- We may ask businesses to correct minor problems. Serious safety, fraud or legal risks may justify prompt suspension.
- Permanent removal, explanations, notice and complaint procedures will follow applicable law, including any required advance notice or lawful exceptions.
- If we permanently remove a Featured listing, future recurring charges will stop. Any refund or remedy is handled under Section 5 and applicable law.
- We may update features and these Terms as the platform develops. We will give legally required notice of material changes; existing active subscription prices remain protected.
10 | Privacy, support and legal details
We use reasonable care to operate VibeLocal, but independent businesses remain responsible for their own products, services and customer experiences. The website may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or technical reasons. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
Personal data is handled in line with applicable EU and Spanish law. Our separate Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain the details. Users should avoid including identifying information in written feedback.
Questions, complaints, reports of illegal content or challenges to moderation decisions: info@vibelocal.es. Additional reporting or appeal processes will be provided where required by law.
These Terms are governed by Spanish law, with disputes handled by the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable law.
